To conduct initial consultations with potential clients and in so doing assess merits and any potential risk in further pursuit of a matter from a medio-legal point of view

To receive, organise, and analyse all relevant medical records, documentation, and materials

To translate complex medical language into terms and concepts that are more easily understandable

To provide written reports regarding the merits of a potential medico-legal claim. (Applicable industry standards, as well as guidelines and protocols for practice are taken into account when the merits of a case are identified)

Clinical research and literature searches

To assist the Legal Practitioner by arranging case files in a court-ready format

To act as a basic Nursing Expert and/or Amicus Curae during the trial of a medico-legal claim

To act as a qualified mediator in any medico-legal dispute
